A reminder of the merchant past of the Market Square is the Cloth Hall towering in its centre , a place where traded in the past were the most luxorious goods brought to Krakow by merchants from all over the world.

It still allows you to do your shopping ( mostly for Krakow memorabilla and works of art), but also lets you see one of the most precious collection of Polish painting.
